Eatontown is a borough in the middle of eastern Monmouth County, crossed by busy highways and retail corridors but built mostly of quiet residential streets. Much of the housing is post-war and mid-century: capes, ranches, split-levels and colonials on modest, mostly flat lots. These homes are practical and well built, but many still have the original concrete walk, stoop and patio, and those pieces show their age.
Front walks with more curb appeal
A straight concrete strip from the driveway to the door is standard on many Eatontown homes. Replacing it with a curved paver or bluestone walk, sometimes with a wider landing at the door, is one of the simplest ways to refresh a cape or ranch. Our patio and walkway work handles the layout, base and edging so the new walk stays even.
Backyard patios on flat lots

Flat yards make patios easy to lay out, but water still needs somewhere to go. We set paver patios with a gentle pitch away from the house and plan around downspouts so rain does not end up at the back door. Many owners replace a small, cracked slab with a larger patio that fits a dining table and a grill.
Driveways and steps
Original driveways in older neighborhoods often have heaved joints, sunken sections near the garage and crumbling aprons. We remove and replace them on a new base. We also rebuild front stoops on split-levels and capes where the steps have pulled away or cracked, and we seal smaller cracks in slabs that are still sound.
A quick project checklist
- Measure the space. Think about furniture, a grill and how many people you host.
- Look at drainage. Note where water sits after storms.
- Consider the front first. A new walk and stoop often has the biggest visual impact.
- Book early. Spring fills up fast.
Eatontown borders Tinton Falls, West Long Branch, Oceanport and Ocean Township. We work across all of Monmouth County.
